CB&I Wins Award for LNG Terminal in China10/01/2006
CB&I awarded lump-sum turnkey contract for design and construction of terminal system works at new liquefied natural gas import terminal in Fujian Province, Peoples Republic of China. Award follows Company's announcement in April 2005 of a US$100 million contract to build two 160,000 cubic meter full containment LNG storage tanks at the facility.


Technip Awarded Contract by BP Norge for Tambar Pipeline10/01/2006

Fluor Awarded Marathon Petroleum FEED Contract11/01/2006
Fluor elected by Marathon Petroleum to provide FEED services for proposed $2.2 billion expansion at the company's Garyville, La., refinery. Contract will be performed over a 12-month period and executed in Fluor's office in Houston, with support from the company's global engineering centres.


Mott MacDonald Wins Contract for New Power Station in Barbados11/01/2006
Mott MacDonald awarded contract by The Barbados Light & Power Company Limited to design and manage new 60MW power station development which will meet the increasing demand for electricity in Barbados and to replace equipment that has reached the end of its economic life.


Foster Wheeler Awarded Contract for New Pulverized-Coal Boiler12/01/2006
Foster Wheeler Ltd's U.S. subsidiary, Foster Wheeler Global Power Group, awarded contract to design and supply new 200 megawatt pulverized-coal-fired steam generator for new power plant to be built at City Water, Light & Power's Dallman Generating Station in Springfield, Illinois, USA. Foster Wheeler will supply the steam generator to Kiewit/Black & Veatch, the owner's lump-sum turnkey EPC contractors for the new power plant.


Technip Signs Contract with SABIC for Yansab Complex12/01/2006
Technip signs contract with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation for construction of large-scale ethylene and propylene production plant at Yansab Complex in Yanbu Industrial City, on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. This contract, effective as of May 11 2005 the execution date of the relevant Letter of Intent, covers basic and detail engineering, procurement and supply of materials, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and training of the owner's personnel.


Jacobs Receives Contract From San Diego County Water Authority12/01/2006

Technip and Chiyoda JV signs contract with Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Limited (3) and sponsors of the Qatargas 4 Project for two of the world's largest liquefied natural gas trains. Under this contract, the Technip/Chiyoda joint venture will carry out engineering, procurement and construction of Trains 6 and 7 at Qatargas plant in Ras Laffan City, adjacent to Trains 4 and 5 currently being executed by the Technip/Chiyoda joint venture within the framework of contract signed with Qatargas II.


Frontier Oil Selects CB&I for Refinery Expansion Project13/01/2006
CB&I awarded contract by Frontier El Dorado Refining Company to design and build a crude and vacuum unit expansion at Frontier's refinery in El Dorado, Kansas. The expansion project will enable Frontier to increase crude charge rates, achieve higher yields of gasoline and distillates, and run a significantly higher proportion of heavy crude oil.


Shell Adds LNG Supply and Regasification Projects to its Portfolio13/01/2006
Royal Dutch Shell plc adds two major additions to its global LNG portfolio. In Qatar, the company has joined forces with Qatar Petroleum (QP) in the development of the large scale Qatargas 4 LNG project, while in the United States Shell has agreed to acquire additional capacity at the Elba Island LNG import terminal in Georgia.

Foster Wheeler Wins Contract for New Power Plant24/01/2006
Foster Wheeler Ltd's Finnish subsidiary, Foster Wheeler Energia Oy, and its Polish subsidiary, Foster Wheeler Energia Polska Sp. z o.o., both part of Foster Wheeler's Global Power Group, receive Full Notice To Proceed (NTP) from Poland's Poludniowy Koncern Energetyczny (PKE) for design, supply and erection of circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) boiler island for new 460 MWe power plant at Lagisza in southern Poland. Total investment cost for the new power plant is approximately $550 million.


Air Products Canada to Construct Hydrogen Production Plant24/01/2006
Air Products' subsidiary, Air Products Canada Ltd., to construct 105 million standard-cubic-feet-per-day hydrogen production plant to serve several customers in the Alberta Heartlands industrial corridor and the Petro-Canada refinery in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This industrial gas facility will be the first in Canada to provide a sale of hydrogen for use in the upgrading of Canadian oil sands.


Aker Kvaerner Sign Statoil LOI for Mongstad Refinery Upgrade24/01/2006
Aker Kvaerner signed letter of intent with Statoil to provide engineering, and assistance to Statoil on the procurement and construction management for the upgrade of the group's Mongstad refinery, north of Bergen, Norway. The value of the engineering contract to Aker Kvaerner is approximately EUR 8.7 million initially. In addition, will come the value of the procurement and construction supervision as requested by Statoil during the construction phase.


Babcock & Wilcox To Supply Selective Catalytic Reduction System25/01/2006
McDermott International, Inc's. Babcock & Wilcox Company receives contract valued at more than $50 million from Kansas City Power & Light, a subsidiary of Great Plains Energy Incorporated, to supply a selective catalytic reduction system for the LaCygne Generating Station in Linn County, Kansas.


Eni Brings Forward Expansion of TTPC and TAG Pipelines25/01/2006
Eni's Board of Directors approves decision to bring forward increase in 6.6 billion cubic meters a year of capacity of the TTPC and TAG pipelines to 1 April 2009. The increase was formerly scheduled for 1 October 2011.


Jacobs Receives Multi-Site Facilities Program Contract26/01/2006
Jacobs Engineering Group receives contract from Shell to provide front-end design as well as project and construction management services for Shell's facilities program at their U.S. locations. The multi-site program comprises new administration buildings and upgrades to existing facilities such as laboratories and control centres at Shell's major refining and chemical complexes.


Technip Hatch JV Awarded Koniambo Nickel Project30/01/2006
Technip, in joint venture with Hatch, awarded by Falconbridge Limited the project for construction of Koniambo nickel smelter unit located in the New Caledonia's Northern Province, near Kone. Koniambo is one of the world's largest and highest-grade undeveloped nickel and laterite deposits.

AMEC appointed by Ningxia Coal Industry Group (NCG) as project management contractor for development of new US$1.5 billion coal-to-chemical production complex in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China.

Aker Kvaerner Awarded Contract for Statoil's Gjøa Field02/02/2006
Aker Kvaerner awarded contract for front end engineering design of the floating production unit for Statoil's Gjøa project in the North Sea west of Florø. Engineering work will start immediately and continue through September 2006. Approximately 100 engineers will be working on the study at peak manning.


Halliburton Awarded TNK-BP Contract for Ust-Vakh Field07/02/2006
Halliburton International Inc., Russia awarded $33 million contract by TNK-BP to provide a full range of services for the Ust-Vakh field development in Western Siberia, Russia.


Subsea 7 Awarded Oseberg Delta Contract by Hydro07/02/2006
Subsea 7 receives EPIC contract for Oseberg Delta Project from Norsk Hydro ASA. The contract is a tieback to the Norsk Hydro operated Oseberg Field Centre via two 10" ID carbon steel production flowlines and an integrated service and control umbilical. The work will be performed during 2006/2007 from Subsea 7's Stavanger office.


Vigdis Phase Two Contracts Awarded by Statoil07/02/2006
Statoil award contracts in connection with phase two of the Vigdis extension project to FMC Kongsberg, Saipem and Stolt Offshore. Partners in the Vigdis licence in the North Sea recently decided to invest over NOK 1.2 billion to improve oil and gas recovery from the area.

Shaw Stone & Webster unit awarded an engineering, procurement and construction services contract by The Kuwait Styrene Company K.S.C. (TKSC), a joint venture between Dow Europe Holding B.V., a subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company, and Kuwait Aromatics Company K.S.C. Saipem has been awarded a contract by Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria for the engineering, procurement and construction of pipelines, flowlines and composite fiber optic and high voltage electrical cables connecting the Gbaran oil and gas production fields - in Bayelsa State in Niger delta, with the central processing facility in the area.


Aker Kvaerner to Supply Cooking Plant to Pulp and Paper Mill10/02/2006
Aker Kvaerner receives order for delivery of continuous cooking plant to pulp and paper mill in Indonesia. The new cooking plant is an important part of a modernisation project at the mill and will increase the pulp production by 1 650 tonnes per day, using acacia as raw material.


Shaw Awarded EPC Contract for New Power Plant by Xcel Energy13/02/2006
shaw Group's Stone & Webster unit awarded an EPC contract by Xcel Energy, for an additional generating unit at its Comanche Generating Station in Pueblo, Colorado. The new, 750-megawatt supercritical coal-fired power plant, with a total cost of $1.35 billion, will be the third unit at the Comanche Station.


Foster Wheeler Awarded Circulating Fluidized-Bed Boilers Contract13/02/2006
Foster Wheeler Global Power Group subsidiary awarded contract for design and supply of two circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) boilers by subsidiary of Shaw Group, the owner's EPC contractor. Contract calls for Foster Wheeler to provide Cleco Power LLC, a subsidiary of Cleco Corp., with two 330 megawatt CFB boilers to be used at the company's proposed solid-fuel generating unit planned at its existing Rodemacher Power Station.


Air Products Awarded Contract by Peru LNG S.R.L.13/02/2006
Air Products receives order from Peru LNG S.R.L. to provide its proprietary process technology and main cryogenic heat exchanger for the first liquefied natural gas plant in Peru. The company will provide its proprietary propane pre-cooled mixed refrigerant liquefaction process technology with the Split MRTM refrigeration equipment configuration, and an MCR(R) main cryogenic heat exchanger.


Wood Group Production Services Win BHP Billiton Contract13/02/2006
Wood Group Production Services awarded contract by BHP Billiton Petroleum (Americas), Inc. to develop a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) as well as prepare operating manuals and start-up procedures for the Neptune deepwater Gulf of Mexico project.

Supply Chain Services Contract for Wood Group14/02/2006
Wood Group Engineering (North Sea), part of the Engineering and Production Facilities Division of John Wood Group, awarded two-year renewable Supply Chain Services Contract by Karazhanbasmunai JSC, a subsidiary of Nations Energy Company Ltd, to provide a comprehensive range of supply chain management services to their exploration and production business in Aktau, Republic of Kazakhstan.


Shaw Stone & Webster Sign LOI with SABIC14/02/2006
Shaw Stone & Webster sign letter of intent with Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a 400,000 metric ton per annum high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant. The new HDPE plant will be located within SABIC's YANSAB affiliate petrochemical complex in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia and is expected to be completed in 2008.


TransCanada Files for Expansion Certificate for North Baja Pipeline14/02/2006
TransCanada Corporation subsidiary, North Baja Pipeline LLC, files application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for a certificate for two-phase expansion of its existing natural gas pipeline in southern California and construction of new pipeline lateral in California's Imperial Valley.


BP and Edison Mission Group Plan Major Hydrogen Power Project14/02/2006
BP and Edison Mission Group (EMG) plan new $1 billion hydrogen-fueled power plant in California that would generate clean electricity with minimal carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The first-of-its-kind plant would be located alongside BP's Carson refinery, about 20 miles south of Los Angeles, and would be capable of producing 500 megawatts (MW) of low-carbon generation.


Shaw and Westinghouse to Support Nuclear Power Fleet Expansion14/02/2006
Shaw Stone & Webster Nuclear Services unit and Westinghouse Electric Company will provide engineering support to South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G), a subsidiary of SCANA Corp., and Santee Cooper for consideration of the possible expansion of their nuclear power fleet using Westinghouse's Advanced Passive 1000 (AP 1000) reactor technology.


J. Ray McDermott Awarded Two Contracts Offshore Saudi Arabia14/02/2006
Subsidiary of J. Ray McDermott, S.A. (J. Ray) awarded two contracts by Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) to provide engineering, procurement, construction and installation services for KJO developments in the Arabian Gulf. First contract is for an integrated wellhead jacket in the Al-Khafji oil field offshore Saudi Arabia. For the second contract, J. Ray will support expansion of KJO's loading facilities in the offshore Neutral Zone between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.


CB&I Awarded Contract for Gas Processing Plant in Western U.S.14/02/2006
CB&I awarded contract by U.S. midstream energy company to design and fabricate a 650 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) cryogenic gas processing plant in the Western United States. The plant will process natural gas from fields that have been among the fastest growing sources of new natural gas production in the United States.


Stolt Offshore Receive $300m in Letters of Intent from Petrobras14/02/2006
Stolt Offshore S.A. receives contract awards totalling approximately $300 million in letters of intent from Petrobras in Brazil. First new award is an EPIC contract for tie-in of oil export pipelines from Roncador, Marlim Sul and Marlin Leste fields to the PRA1 booster platform and other associated tie-in work at two offloading buoys and afloating storage and offloading tanker. Second new award is for an extension to the existing Seaway Condor contract.


Jacobs to Support Higher Production of Clean Fuels in Rotterdam15/02/2006

Foster Wheeler Energy Limited and Foster Wheeler Arabia, Ltd. awarded EPC contract by Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (PETRORabigh) for utilities and offsites of PETRORabigh's world-scale, integrated refining and petrochemical complex at the Red Sea town of Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. PETRORabigh is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical Co. Limited.


Foster Wheeler to Supply Circulating Fluidized-Bed Boilers to SINOPEC16/02/2006
Foster Wheeler Ltd. subsidiaries of its Global Power Group awarded contract for two circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) steam generators by Guangzhou Petroleum Company, a subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC), for its refinery located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. CFB project is part of SINOPEC's continuing program of refinery expansion.


Halliburton Russia Awarded Contract by Salym Petroleum16/02/2006
Halliburton International Inc., Russia awarded contract by Salym Petroleum Development N.V. (SPD) for exploration and production services in Moscow, Russia. Under the contract, Halliburton will carry out directional drilling support and performance optimisation as well as provide drilling fluids engineering, cementing and pumping services.


Fluor To Install Gas Compression Station in Spain16/02/2006
Fluor selected by Enagas to install large gas-compression station in Alcazar de San Juan, Spain. Fluor will be responsible for detailed engineering, procurement services and construction management. Completion is scheduled for the beginning of 2008, with work executed in Fluor's Madrid office.

Nuclear Power Cooperation Agreement Signed by CNNC & CHEC24/02/2006
China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and China Huadian Corporation (CHEC) sign Frame Agreement on Co-operative Construction of Huian Nuclear Power Project in Fujian Province in Beijing. The Huian Nuclear Power Project has been listed into the national nuclear power development plan. Signing of the cooperation agreement means that this project started formally.


Hydro Extends Drilling Contract with KCA Deutag Drilling Norge AS28/02/2006
Hydro to extend its contract with KCA Deutag Drilling Norge AS for drilling services on six of company's fixed installations on Norwegian continental shelf. Contract comprises drilling of production wells on fixed installations Oseberg Sør, Oseberg Øst, Oseberg C, Oseberg B, Brage and Njord, which Hydro operates on the Norwegian continental shelf.


Jacobs Receives Contract From U.S. Army Corps of Engineers17/08/2006
Jacobs Engineering receives contract from United States Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, to provide architectural/engineering services for various military and Army Reserve projects primarily within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division mission boundaries. The Louisville District Army Reserve mission is nationwide. Projects outside the primary mission area of responsibility may be added at the government's discretion upon agreement of the A/E firm.
