Transfield Worley Services Win Contracts with Woodside Energy

WorleyParsons Transfield Worley Services, a 50/50 joint venture between WorleyParsons and Transfield Services, has signed contracts to provide brownfield project and maintenance services to Woodside Energy's offshore gas production and onshore Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) processing facilities in Western Australia.

The contracts include a new four-year contract with a forecast turnover in the order of $600 million to deliver brownfield project services to Woodside's offshore and onshore facilities, with a four-year extension option. These facilities include the North West Shelf assets of North Rankin A, Goodwyn A, Karratha gas plant, King Bay Supply Base and the Angel platform.

Transfield Worley Services has also signed a two-year contract with a forecast turnover in the order of $100 million to provide maintenance and shutdown services to Woodside's onshore Karratha gas plant and offshore facilities, with a two-year extension option.

The Chief Executive Officer of WorleyParsons, Mr John Grill, said: "We are delighted to continue our long-term relationship with Woodside through this contract which continues our high renewal rate on contracts of this nature."

Transfield Worley Services also provides technical services to other key global natural gas producers including:

  • Consolidated maintenance and project services to RasGas' Qatar-based LNG facilities
  • Integrated services to Shell Philippines Exploration at its Malampaya gas facilities
