Cape Wins Offshore Contract in Dutch Sector of the North Sea with Total

Cape Cape plc, the international provider of essential, non-mechanical industrial services principally to the energy and mineral resources sectors, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a three year contract with Total E&P Nederland B.V., with an estimated value in excess of €15 million.

Cape will be providing a full range of offshore multi-disciplinary services including coatings, insulation, access and related services to all 21 of Total's offshore installations in the Dutch sector of the North Sea from March 2010.

Total E&P Nederland has been engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas in the Netherlands and the North Sea Continental Shelf since 1964. In the Dutch sector of the North Sea, gas is produced from its 21 platforms and two subsea production installations. After treatment, the gas flows through a network of pipelines to GasTerra (the former Gasunie Trade & Supply) onshore. The offshore production centres are located between 80 and 150 kilometres northwest of Den Helder.

In the year ended 31 December 2008, Cape reported turnover of £622.7 million. Cape is due to report results for the year ended 31 December 2009 on 10 March 2010.
