Cape Awarded Contract Extension with Heerema Marine Contractors

Cape Cape UK is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract extension by Heerema Marine Contractors, part of the Heerema Group, worth in excess of £2.5m. Under the terms of the contract extension Cape will continue to provide Heerema with Scaffolding Services throughout 2010."

At the contract signing on 26th January, Steve Preston, Executive Vice President Commercial presented Cape with a Long Standing Contractor Award in recognition of Cape's dedicated long-term relationship with Heerema Marine Contractors.

Heerema is a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry and, for six decades, has been serving the world's leading energy firms and national oil companies in the North Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, the Far East and Brazil. Their current fleet of vessels includes the Thialf, the biggest floating Heavy Lift Barge in the World, the Hermod and Balder, the World's biggest Cable and Subsea Pipe laying vessel.
