Cape Philippines Wins Offshore Contract with Clough Amec
Cape's Philippines operations have secured a multi-discipline service contract, worth US$22 million over two years, to provide support services on the Clough Amec joint venture Bayu-Undan offshore facilities in the Timor Sea. Cape will provide a wide range of specialist services on this Asset Integrity Maintenance Remediation campaign including access solutions, coating, lifting and rigging, crane operations, management and supervision.
The Bayu-Undan gas and condensate field in the Timor Sea is estimated to hold over 400 million barrels of hydrocarbon liquids and 3.4 trillion cubic feet of gas. The surface facilities consist of a central production and processing complex, unmanned wellhead platform and floating storage and offloading facility.
Mike Harding, Director of Offshore Operations Asia Pacific Rim, of Cape, commented:
"This contract win reinforces Cape's long standing relationship with Clough Amec on Bayu-Undan offshore facilities. Cape is highly experienced in providing multi-discipline services offshore and we look forward to supporting our client in delivering the project safely and on time."
