Shell Renews Contract With Wood Group
Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) has been reappointed by Shell U.K. to provide engineering design, maintenance, support and construction services to its onshore assets. The contract, worth approximately £25m over two years, will secure employment for around 200 Wood Group employees at Shell's three onshore sites and in Aberdeen. The contract is for assets at the St Fergus Gas Plant, the Fife FNGL Plant at Mossmorran, the Fife Braefoot Bay Terminal plus offshore support for the Goldeneye platform. The 3 facilities process Natural Gas Liquids coming from offshore facilities into higher value components such as Methane and Ethane.
