Petrofac Establishes New North Sea Role With Tullow

Petrofac LogoFollowing the purchase by Tullow Oil Plc of Shell's equity in the Schooner and Ketch fields, Petrofac has negotiated an addition to its service operating relationship with Tullow to manage the two normally unattended installations associated with the gas production from these fields.

Schooner and Ketch have been in production since 1996 and 1999 respectively and currently produce gas, which is transported to the Theddlethorpe terminal via the Caister-Murdoch System infrastructure.

This agreement builds on the responsibilities that Petrofac already has with Tullow for the management of the Hewett and Bacton facilities in the southern North Sea. The offshore Hewett installations, a central complex and three NUI, are tied back to the onshore Bacton gas terminal in East Anglia.
