Jacobs Receives Contract From San Diego County Water Authority
A Jacobs Engineering Group subsidiary has received a contract valued at around $17.9 million from the San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA).
Jacobs will furnish professional and technical services through 30 June 2011 to oversee the performance of independent contractors to accomplish the portfolio of projects described in SDCWA's $3.3 billion Capital Improvement Program. The purpose of the program is to construct water facilities infrastructure in the San Diego region to meet demands and reliability goals for treated and untreated water service.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Allyn Taylor stated, "We are excited to partner with SDCWA to help implement immediate and efficient solutions to their Capital Improvement Program."
