Government's Environment Agency Award Framework Agreement

A Jacobs Engineering Group subsidiary company has received a Framework Agreement from the U.K. Government's Environment Agency to support the delivery of the agency's capital works program for flood defense, waterways, and water resources across England and Wales.

Officials did not disclose the Framework Agreement value, which has an initial four-year period that may be extendable.

Jacobs has served the Environment Agency for England and Wales for the last five years under a Framework Agreement. The Environment Agency is responsible for controlling industrial pollution and waste management, regulating the water environment, and protecting against flooding from rivers and the sea. Its primary aim is to protect and improve the environment while contributing to the delivery of sustainable development through integrated air, land, and water management.
