Jacobs Receives GlaxoSmithKline Engineering Services Contract

Jacobs Engineering Group has received a contract to provide engineering, procurement, construction management, and validation services at GlaxoSmithKline's manufacturing site in Currabinny, Cork, Ireland.

Under the contract which is for a two-year initial performance period, Jacobs is assuming responsibility for an in-house team to maintain, upgrade, and expand GlaxoSmithKline's manufacturing capability at the Currabinny site. Jacobs is managing and integrating a team of approximately 50 people, including GlaxoSmithKline's preferred subcontractors, in a continuation of the long-standing partnership between Jacobs and GlaxoSmithKline at Currabinny.
