Jacobs Receives Multidisciplinary Contract With LFEPA
Jacobs Engineering has received a contract to provide multidisciplinary services to the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA).
Jacobs will deliver a range of professional construction-related management and design services including project management, cost consultancy, planning supervision, architecture, building services engineering, civil and structural engineering, and site inspection.
The third largest firefighting organisation in the world, the LFEPA has responsibility for the Greater London area which has a resident population of 7 million people.
Jacobs has been providing professional services to LFEPA for over 6 years on a variety of commissions including the primary and fall back command centers at Greenwich, Stratford, and Hammersmith fire stations.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Phil Stassi commented: "The LFEPA is one of the world's foremost emergency services organizations. We're delighted to have secured this prestigious contract and look forward to supporting their essential work to safeguard the city of London and its people."
