Jacobs Receives Greenfield Chemical Project From DSM

A Jacobs Engineering Group subsidiary company has received a contract from DSM to provide engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services for a new manufacturing facility, named the "UH2 Project," at the Chemelot site in Geleen, The Netherlands.

Jacobs already developed the conceptual and basic design for the project and will execute the EPCM work from its offices in Cologne, Germany. The UH2 Project is scheduled to be complete in mid-2008. In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Andy Kremer stated, "This is a challenging assignment for us. We're very enthusiastic about continuing our 15-year collaboration with DSM to support their global market leadership."
