ConocoPhillips Review Staffing

A spokeswoman for ConocoPhillips in Aberdeen has confirmed staffing needs will be reviewed against budgets within each business unit. She said it was too early to comment on the outcome of this process.

Earlier this month the company announced it was cutting capital spending this year by 38% to £8.5billion and losing around 1300 jobs equivalent to 4% of its workforce worldwide.

ConocoPhillips employs about 600 staff and contractors at its Aberdeen offices.
