JGC Awarded Diesel Hydrotreater Project in Singapore

JGC Corporation has been awarded a contract by ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (EMAPPL) for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of the main process facilities for a diesel hydrotreater project. This project is located at ExxonMobil's Singapore Refinery.
The new diesel hydrotreater unit is expected to produce more than 9 million liters per day of ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel by 2014. When used in modern engines, ultra-low sulfur diesel, commonly used to run everything from tractor-trailers, buses and marine vessels to off-road equipment such as backhoes, threshers and locomotives, leads to improved air quality.
JGC continues to be pleased to contribute to environment-friendly energy and world energy security by providing engineering services to suit a wide variety of client needs.
