ICA Fluor Wins Clean Fuels Projects from PEMEX

ICA Fluor, the industrial construction joint venture of Empresas ICA, S.A.B de C.V. and Fluor Corporation, announced today that Mexico's state oil company, PEMEX Refining, awarded the company engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for two low-sulfur gasoline projects in Mexico valued at $622 million as part of its clean fuels program.

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announced today the signing in Beijing of financing agreements by its affiliate SINOPEC SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical Co. Ltd, totalling RMB 18.26 billion (US $2.68 billion), including RMB 12.26 billion (US $1.8 billion) long-term financing, plus an additional RMB 6 billion (US$ 880 million) in working capital facilities to finance its petrochemical complex in Tianjin, China, that is owned jointly by SABIC and SINOPEC.

BASF and Linde Sign Cooperation Agreement on Flue Gas Carbon Dioxide Capture

BASF and Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH (LKCA), a Linde Group subsidiary, will jointly market licenses and plants for the capture of carbon dioxide from flue gases in the future. DuPont and BASF Announce Settlement

DuPont and BASF Plant Science announced they have reached an agreement on a patent infringement dispute. In June 2009, DuPont and BASF filed suit against each other in U.S. Federal Court in the District of Delaware that sought to enforce intellectual property rights relating to biotechnology traits, including traits that provide tolerance to ALS herbicides.
