Atkins Appointed on Major Environment Agency Framework01/11/2005
Atkins appointed as Framework Partner on one of the largest consultancy frameworks in the public sector - the Environment Agency National Engineering and Environmental Consultancy Framework (NEECA). The Environment Agency has a budget in excess of £2billion to deliver its flood defence, waterways and water resources capital works programme over the next 10 years.


Fluor Wins Habshan Gas Processing Work in Abu Dhabi09/11/2005
Fluor awarded EPCC contract for Habshan Gas Complex Expansion project by Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO). Fluor's Camberley, UK, office is executing the work which is estimated to be completed in 32 months. Fluor will be assisted on the project by Athens-based Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCC).


AMEC to Design and Deliver New Gas Compression Station10/11/2005
AMEC wims contracts from National Grid to design and deliver new gas compression station in South Wales and upgrade two stations in central England. The contracts are the latest in series of awards to AMEC by National Grid covering both gas and electricity infrastructure.


AMEC/ALSTOM Consortium Wins Environmental Contract14/11/2005
Consortium comprising AMEC and ALSTOM awarded £108 million contract (AMEC share £64 million) by RWE npower to fit new environmental technology to reduce sulphur emissions at the Aberthaw coal-fired power station near Barry in South Wales. Project is driven by requirements of new European environmental regulations due to come into force in 2008.


Mott MacDonald to Project Manage Biomass Power Station22/11/2005
Mott MacDonald appointed by E.ON UK Renewables Ltd to assist in project management of the largest dedicated UK biomass power station at Stevens Croft near Lockerbie in Scotland. The project will create 40 direct jobs and should create or safeguard over 300 jobs in forestry and farming as well as encourage additional investment in sawmills.


Aker Kvaerner Wins Centrica Offshore Valve Maintenance Contract24/11/2005
Centrica award Aker Kvaerner's Engineering Services contract for recertification of pressure safety valves for its operations based out of Morecambe Bay. The Aker Kvaerner's Humber Workshops will be responsible for all pressure safety valves, maintenance and recertification, to include offshore support for shutdowns.


Subsea 7 Contract Awards from ConocoPhillips30/11/2005
First contract is for work associated with Ekofisk 2/4 FTP by-pass project. Workscope includes engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, removal, installation and pre-commissioning of subsea pipeline system for the project and associated platform work. The second award is for a pipeline bypass around the Norpipe H7 gas booster platform located in the German sector of the North Sea.


Foster Wheeler Awarded ENOC Contract at Jebel Ali01/12/2005
Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd receives contract from ENOC Processing Company LLC for major upgrade of EPCL's Jebel Ali gas condensate refinery in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Project will be undertaken by Foster Wheeler Energy in the UK.


Foster Wheeler Awarded Mombasa Refinery and Terminal Upgrade05/12/2005
Foster Wheeler Ltd's UK subsidiary Foster Wheeler Energy Limited awarded a contract by Kenya Petroleum Refineries Limited to prepare the basis of design for proposed upgrade of Mombasa Refinery in Kenya.


Petrofac Secures Long-term Contract With CNR08/12/2005
Petrofac receives Letter of Intent from CNR International (UK) Limited under which it has been asked to provide Operations Support services for four fixed installations in the UK Continental Shelf comprising the Ninian and Murchison fields.


Maersk Oil Extends Contract with Petrofac19/12/2005
Petrofac awarded extension of its current contract until late 2006 with Maersk Oil for provision of offshore operations and maintenance services.
