Aker Kvaerner Wins BASF Services Contract05/09/2005
Aker Kvaerner sign partnership agreement with BASF Antwerpen N.V., to provide engineering services at BASF's Antwerp, Belgium site - the second largest production location within the BASF group after Ludwigshafen, Germany.


Pfizer Award New Biotech Pharmaceutical Facility Project to Jacobs05/09/2005
Jacobs Engineering Group selected to develop concept and preliminary design for new biotech pharmaceutical facility for Pfizer, Inc., at Pfizer's Strangnas Manufacturing Center in Sweden. Jacobs is executing the work from their office in Reading in England.


AMEC Awarded £100m Long-term Asset Support Contracts15/09/2005
AMEC awarded long-term asset support contracts by leading chemical companies Innovene and Huntsman Petrochemicals. Innovene award is a five year management contract to undertake all cycle-ending plant overhauls at its Grangemouth facility in Scotland. Huntsman's four-year contract award is for overhauls of its Aromatics, Ethylene, Polyurethane and Paraxylene plants.


New Oudna Development Contracts for Petrofac21/09/2005
Lundin Netherlands awards Petrofac two further contracts for development of the Oudna field. Latest award is a continuation of the work carried out by Woking-based Petrofac Engineering between December 2004 and April this year which included pre-project preparation and cost estimating for drilling, well testing and full field development.


Petrofac Awarded Hasdrubal Development FEED28/09/2005
Petrofac awarded contract to carry out front-end engineering and design (FEED) for the development of the Hasdrubal field, offshore Tunisia by BG Tunisia. Conceptual and pre-FEED work for the offshore and onshore facilities is already completed by Petrofac's Woking, UK office.


Jacobs Receives Magnox Electric Contract29/09/2005
Jacobs Engineering receive contract from Magnox Electric, a subsidiary of British Nuclear Group, for reactor site resource enhancement at two reactor sites in the United Kingdom. Jacobs is providing senior project management personnel for decommissioning activities at the Bradwell and Chapelcross reactor sites.


E.ON UK Gives Go-ahead To Biomass Power Station15/10/2005
E.ON UK gives final go-ahead to its £90m 44MW dedicated biomass power station which will be built at Lockerbie in Scotland. It is estimated that the power station, which will be located at Steven's Croft, will create 40 direct jobs and 300 indirect jobs in forestry and farming.


Petro-Canada Contract Award for Expro North Sea19/10/2005
Expro North Sea Limited (part of Expro International Group PLC, "Expro", or "the Group") has been awarded a major three-year contract (with additional two one-year options) for the supply of offshore production and maintenance personnel and expertise to Petro-Canada Netherlands BV.


Technip Awarded Petrobras EPCI Contract at Campos Basin21/10/2005
Technip awarded EPCI contract by Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras) valued around US$ 210 million for subsea pipeline and free standing hybrid riser (FSHR) for deep water oil export in the Campos Basin, offshore Rio de Janeiro. Technip's engineering centre in Rio de Janeiro will be responsible for overall project management with technical support from Technip Offshore UK and Technip USA.


Venture Award Subsea 7 Goosander Tie Back25/10/2005
Subsea 7 awarded their first major EPIC contract under the recently announced partnership agreement with Venture Production plc. The contract, valued over US$ 50M, is for the installation of a tie-back from the Goosander production well to the Kittiwake platform.


AMEC Wins EPCM Contract For BP Harding Offshore Gas Project27/10/2005
AMEC to provide engineering and project management services for BP's Harding Area Gas project in the North Sea. The award of the contract, for pre-sanction engineering with options for detailed design and project management assistance, is anticipated to commence in January 2006, subject to necessary project approvals.
