Acergy S.A. and Subsea7 Awarded Frame Agreement Contract03/07/2006
Acergy S.A. has been awarded, in a consorium with Subsea7 Inc, a two year Frame Agreement Contract by Statoil ASA. This contract will cover all of Statoil's subsea installation work in the Norwegian Sea and North Sea throughout 2007 and 2008. The total value to the consortium for firm work awarded so far is approximately $80 million, with further installation projects of a similar value expected to be called off as they are sanctioned.


Subsea 7 Awarded Two Long Term Support Contracts by Shell03/07/2006
Subsea 7 Inc. awarded two separate contracts by Shell Exploration and Production in Europe, both for a firm period of six years and with a combined value in the region of US $1.1 billion. These contracts, which will both have 4 x 1 year options to renew, will necessitate the design, build and operation of a Remotely Operated Vehicle Support Vessel (ROVSV) and a Diving Support Vessel (DSV).


Fluor and British Nuclear Group Team Win Russian Contract10/07/2006
Fluor Limited, the United Kingdom operating arm of Fluor Corporation, and British Nuclear Group's specialist decommissioning business, Project Services, announced today that their partnership has successfully secured a contract with the Russian Foundation for Environmental Safety of Power Engineering.


Scottish & Southern Energy Invest in New Combined Cycle Gas Power Station24/07/2006
Scottish and Southern Energy plc ("SSE") enters into agreement with ESBI (Ireland's ESB International) to acquire 50% of shares in Marchwood Power Ltd, in anticipation of construction of a new gas-fired power station near Southampton with an installed capacity of around 850MW.


BP & Maersk Oil Approve FEED FOR Harding Area Gas Project25/07/2006
BP and its partner, Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited, announce approval of FEED (Front End Engineering and Design) for Harding Area Gas Project. This is the first stage of a development project to allow the production of gas from the Harding area and prolong the life of the field beyond 2015.


Subsea 7 Awarded Contract by BP Norge AS25/07/2006
Subsea 7 Inc. awarded contract valued in the region of US $ 55 million by BP Norge AS for fabrication, installation and tie-in of two new pipeline systems at the Valhall field which is located in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.


E.ON UK Signs Contract for Cambridgeshire Wind Farm27/07/2006
Stag's Holt Wind Farm given green light after developer E.ON UK signed major contract. Contract will be carried out by Vestas Celtic Wind Technology, which is based at Campbeltown in Argyll & Bute. Scheme will see nine Vestas V80 turbines sited at Stag's Holt, near March in Cambridgeshire. The wind farm will have an installed capacity of 18MW.


Foster Wheeler Secures Role In Greater Ekofisk Platform Modifications In Norway28/07/2006
Foster Wheeler Energy Limited awarded contract by Vetco Aibel AS to provide engineering and procurement services for modifications to extend the life of existing platforms in the Greater Ekofisk area in the Norwegian North Sea for ConocoPhillips. Foster Wheeler's Glasgow operation in Scotland will carry out front-end engineering design, detailed engineering, management and administration, and supply chain management for Vetco Aibel, which has a frame agreement with ConocoPhillips for the engineering, onshore fabrication and offshore completion services for the Greater Ekofisk modifications.


J P Kenny Wins £10 million North Sea Contract with BP01/08/2006
JP Kenny Caledonia Ltd, (JPK) a subsidiary of John Wood Group PLC, awarded significant contract in support of BP's operations in the North Sea. The 3-year contract includes both engineering and operational support and follows on from previous contract held by JPK since 2001. JPK recently began work on a number of engineering workscopes for the Machar field, as well as feasibility study for new development in the Central North Sea.


Foster Wheeler to Proceed with EPC Phase for Shell Refinery03/08/2006
Foster Wheeler Energy Limited and its Singapore subsidiary, Foster Wheeler Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd, instructed by Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte.) Ltd. to proceed with initial engineering, procurement and construction management for world-scale ethylene oxide/mono-ethylene glycol (EO/MEG) plant and significant refinery modification project in Singapore.


Jacobs Receives Multidisciplinary Contract With LFEPA10/08/2006
Jacobs Engineering receives contract to provide multidisciplinary services to the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA). Jacobs will deliver a range of professional construction-related management and design services including project management, cost consultancy, planning supervision, architecture, building services engineering, civil and structural engineering, and site inspection.


Technip Awarded Contracts for Brenda and Affleck Developments10/08/2006
Technip's UK entity awarded contracts for two key developments located in the UK North Sea, which have a combined value of £67 million (95 million euros). Contract awards comprise the Oilexco Brenda and Maersk Affleck projects.


Mott MacDonald Design Consultant for Brighton Marina15/08/2006
Mott MacDonald appointed design and planning consultant for major residential scheme for Brighton Marina, which received planning permission on 30 June. The £235 million project, being developed by Brunswick Developments, will help regenerate a part of the existing marina within the context of the Special Planning Guidance applicable to the area.


E.ON UK Submits Scoping Application For New Gas Storage Facility17/08/2006
E.ON UK, the company that runs Powergen, submitts scoping application to build underground gas storage facility in East Yorkshire. E.ON carried out geological investigations earlier this year to determine the area's suitability for the facility. The company now intends to apply for planning permission to build its proposed scheme on a site to the north of Aldbrough.


KBR Signs Contract for Largest GTL Project in History21/08/2006
KBR signs contract to provide project management and cost-reimbursable engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services to Qatar Shell GTL Ltd., a Royal Dutch Shell plc subsidiary, for the Pearl Gas to Liquids (GTL) project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. KBR will undertake the work in a joint venture with JGC of Japan, incorporating the services of MWKL.
